What the app does — and does not — provide

The app queries third-party sources and presents the links it finds. It does not host video, guarantee that a match will be listed, or hold any Bundesliga rights.

  • Listings depend on third-party sources, which change without notice.
  • German commentary is the most common; English coverage is inconsistent.
  • Geo-blocking and the Saturday blackout affect availability.
  • Free-to-air picks are a separate, licensed route — not something the app guarantees.

We do not publish stream links, schedules or source lists. If you need guaranteed access, use the licensed broadcaster in your country.

Why availability changes

Source uptime, geo-blocking and rights enforcement all affect what is available. The German Saturday 15:30 blackout is a rights matter, not a technical fault. We do not advise on circumventing geo-blocks or ISP blocks: a VPN changes your apparent location, not the licence.

Legal position

The DFL is aggressive on piracy. Germany's Urheberrechtsgesetz allows cease-and-desist against end users (Abmahnung), and ISPs implement blocking orders. The UK High Court has ordered blocks for Bundesliga streams. The disclaimer summarises the position by jurisdiction.

How to choose a broadcaster for the Bundesliga

The “best” service is the one that holds the rights where you live. Everything else is secondary. Work through these five questions before you subscribe:

  1. Does it hold the rights in your country? Rights are sold territory by territory. A service that shows the Bundesliga in one market may have no rights in another.
  2. Does it cover the matches you actually want? A broadcaster may hold “the rights” but only show a subset of matches. Check the fixture list, not the marketing page.
  3. What does it cost per month? Compare the monthly price, the annual price and any cancellation terms. Sports tiers are often sold separately.
  4. Does it work on your devices? Check the app, the browser, the TV platform and the number of simultaneous streams.
  5. Is there a free or cheap legal route? Free-to-air coverage and highlights packages are real options in several markets.

Free-to-air and blackouts

Free-to-air: In Germany, ZDF and Sat.1 show selected matches free-to-air; Sky holds the pay rights. Free-to-air coverage varies elsewhere.

Blackouts: The German Saturday 15:30 blackout protects attendance. It is a rights rule, not a technical fault, and a VPN does not create a licence.

A blackout is a rights rule, not a technical fault. If a match is blacked out in your country, a VPN does not create a licence and may breach the service's terms. We do not advise on circumvention.
